Organic oil – “Nodo/Dono”

In respect for nature and consumers, the olive trees, located in the San Vito area (Maiori) – at heights ranging from 50 to 300 m above sea level – are treated with clay to keep away any pests, such as the olive fly, and to defend the fruits themselves from the sun.

Nodo/Dono

“Nodo/Dono” oil is produced from different varieties of olive trees such as Frantoio, Leccino, Rotondella, Carpellese and Ogliarola. They give rise to a quality oil, rightly full-bodied and with a clean aftertaste.

To the eye it presents a clear and brilliant color, with colors ranging from green to straw yellow. On the nose and taste it brings back hints of freshly pressed fruit, aromatic and bitter herbs and unripe tomato. Decisive, persistent, pleasantly bitter and spicy, it is excellent for enriching all kinds of dishes.
